Young Girls at Risk: 'Trans' Men Still Housed in Female Juvenile Facilities

Despite President Trump’s efforts to restore common sense and protect women’s spaces,
dangerous Obama-era regulations remain in place that force juvenile detention facilities to
house biological males alongside young girls. Under the 2012 regulations tied to the Prison
Rape Elimination Act (PREA), juvenile facilities are prohibited from making housing
decisions based on biology alone. This means that boys who claim a transgender identity
— even those as old as 17 — can be locked up with girls as young as 11 years old. If states
refuse to comply, they are threatened with devastating federal funding cuts, leaving even
conservative states with little choice but to obey.
This injustice highlights just how far the radical left will go. They are willing to put vulnerable
young girls at risk to advance a dangerous gender ideology — one that has already
infiltrated our schools, public bathrooms, sports, and now even juvenile detention centers.
There is no length they will not go to erase God’s design for male and female, and the cost
is the safety and dignity of our daughters.
Audits from facilities across the country — from New York to Tennessee — confirm that
transgender-identifying males are being housed with girls, and that juvenile centers are
instructed to prioritize transgender inmates' “sense of safety” over the well-being of
biological females. Incredibly, while male inmates can demand a female staffer to conduct
searches, the real needs and concerns of young women are ignored. The rights and
protections that should belong to girls are being handed over to men.
When society prioritizes ideology over biology, it is the vulnerable who pay the price. We
must boldly defend God's unchanging truth in every public space, including our juvenile
facilities, and demand leaders take real action to restore safety, dignity, and moral clarity.
