WHO WE ARE
Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF) is an organization that provides the tools and support needed to empower citizens to defend their freedom and liberty, and place local government back into the hands of the people.
Our values are based upon both the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God as written in the Declaration of Independence. Our resources empower citizens to hold school boards, local officials, and other governing bodies accountable, ensuring they uphold the principles of freedom and liberty. These principles, endowed by our Creator, are guaranteed by America’s founding documents: the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the U.S. Constitution.
Our Mission
To equip and empower American citizens to stand for and preserve freedom for themselves and future generations by resolving breaches of liberty through local awareness, local light, and local action. To educate the American citizen on the value of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its influence on America’s founding.
Focused efforts at the local level
The fight to save America begins at the LOCAL level. That is why we are committed to providing both citizens and churches with the resources, training, and support needed to create lasting change in their communities.
We are engaging and equipping pastors through a proven four-step process: Connect, Reveal, Equip, and Activate. By building relationships with church leaders, exposing local challenges through research, providing practical resources and training, and helping churches take meaningful action, we are mobilizing the Body of Christ to influence culture and governance at the community level.
These efforts are supported by our dedicated teams working at both the local and national levels to develop toolkits, training, and actionable guidance that address the unique challenges facing communities across the country. By combining local insights with national research, strategic expertise, and access to trusted legal support, we equip citizens, pastors, and congregations with the tools they need to take informed, effective action where they live and serve.
