Trump Administration Moves to Protect Women and Enforce Federal Law

At a time when biological reality and women’s rights are under fierce attack, the Trump

administration is taking bold action to defend truth, protect female athletes, and hold state

officials accountable. Karoline Leavitt, National Press Secretary for President Trump,

recently announced that the Trump administration will prosecute state officials who violate

federal law by allowing men to compete in women’s sports. This marks a powerful

reaffirmation of the God-given distinctions between men and women — distinctions that

our laws, our faith, and our basic freedoms must honor.

In February 2025, President Trump issued the executive order, "Keeping Men Out of

Women’s Sports," affirming that under federal law, women’s sports must remain reserved

for biological females. This action builds on the 2020 Title IX Rule, which the U.S.

Department of Education has pledged to enforce, protecting women and girls from unfair

competition.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi also made clear that states have a legal obligation to

comply with federal law. Bondi emphasized that no state has the authority to undermine

the rights of women and girls by allowing men into their sports leagues. States that violate

Title IX will face serious consequences — including federal lawsuits and the loss of federal

funding.

Just last month, the Department of Education announced penalties against the state of

Maine for its refusal to comply with Title IX, sending a clear message: the federal

government will no longer stand by while radical gender ideology robs women of

opportunities, scholarships, and safety.

As Christians, we know that God created male and female, beautifully distinct (Genesis

1:27). Protecting the integrity of women’s sports is not just a legal or political issue — it’s

a matter of standing for truth, justice, and the protection of our daughters.

We applaud President Trump and his administration for taking this critical stand for women,

for fairness, and for God’s design. May we continue to pray for our leaders as they work to

restore righteousness and common sense to our nation.
