Why Public Comments Matter

Federal and state agencies issue thousands of regulations each year that can affect families, schools, churches, businesses, elections, healthcare, and individual liberties. Public comments provide a formal avenue to raise concerns, offer recommendations, and ensure diverse viewpoints are considered before regulations take effect.

CDF uses this process to advocate for policies that promote constitutional government, individual freedom, parental rights, and civic accountability.
